Introducing Aelfie, the Brooklyn based textile design studio behind our latest homeware pieces including a flat weave, happy/sad rug and leaf print duvet set. Aelfie is renowned for unique and eye-catching maximalist textiles, informed by a love of colour, pattern and play. Designed in Brooklyn and handmade by artisans in India, we’re big fans of Aelfie’s happy approach to homeware, making them the perfect partner to extend the ‘Lazy Lifestyle’ range.
Founded by Aelfie Oudghiri, Aelfie launched in 2012 as a rug company with hundreds of antique tribal rugs and a few original designs. Since then, the line has grown to include pillows, bedding, blankets, furniture, and more. The rugs are proudly handmade by artisans in Northern India using traditional methods native to the region. Like us, Aelfie love to collaborate on special projects with some of their favourite artists working with the likes of Art Baby Girl, Ohni Lisle and Gentle Thrills to name a few.
At the end of last year, we had the pleasure of visiting their beautiful studio and showroom space in Brooklyn, New York and got lost in a dream world of texture and pattern.
