We Like to MOVE!

Last Thursday night at 6pm the Lazy Oaf team officially opened the doors of our flagship store on Fouberts Place and we invited all of you down to celebrate this momentous occasion. Our new shop boy Greg Holland bought his rather flash camera along to document the night and here are the results.
After our dedicated Oaf team endured much blood, sweat and white paint, the shop was finally ready to be unleashed to the world.
And the world quite literally showed up. OK we're exaggerating slightly but there was quite a bit of a queue going on. Of course we built up suspense by keeping all hidden behind a polka dot sheet.
As it got darker outside, the skull lights looked even more impressive modeling our new Spitfire glasses.
And of course the shop was properly kitted out with mini bags of our favourite flavoursome sweets Jelly Bellys that took pride of place in our goodie bags. There was also a plenty of fruity Vitaminwater on site ready to quench the thirst of all those eager shoppers.
Just after 6pm, our door girl for the night, Wholesale Manager Katie, let everyone in and before we knew it, the shop was packed from head to toe.
Alex and our intern Ben were on the bar making sure all you 18+ers got a Kopparberg cider. We had three flavours to choose from and the Elderflower and Lime seemed to be the biggest hit. Each person was also treated to a giant Lazy Oaf straw which were surpisingly practical.
We were very pleased to welcome some of our favourite designers, bloggers and journalists into the shop. Above you can see blogger and Sunday Times Style writer Simon Glazin who fell in love with the Burger Sweatshirt and prop stylist and accessory designer Fred Butler who got her hands on the brand new Steven Shein bangle.

Recognise the chap on the far left? That's because he is our previous model Luke Rainey from Zone who showed up with fellow irish folk.
No Oaf party would be complete without you lot showing up in your own Oaf purchases - see Bonjour and Rad being worn in style above.
After much cider drinking, queue maintaining, transaction making and photo taking, at 8pm we shut up shop, took a huuuge sigh of relief and posed for a photo. What a night! Thanks to all of you who showed up, you were wonderful and the shop hopes to see a lot more of you so please do come back.
