Lazy Oaf loves Young Knives
Posted by Jerry It is always great to find out we have new admirers but what's even better is when we are already their fans! So when I learned that power trio band Young Knives were loving our designs, I couldn't have been happier. 2011 sees the much anticipated return of the band with the launch of their third album Ornaments From The Silver Arcade this week. Check out the iPhone version of their latest hit 'Love My Name' featuring our Poncho sweatshirt worn by lead singer Henry and drummer Oliver in the Stripey hat. I was lucky enough to see this performed live at East London's XOYO last night for the bands album launch party. I hadn't seem them perform since a gig in Nottingham back in 2007 but I can confirm that they're stronger and more powerful than ever. Plus their commentary and interaction with the audience in between tracks is hilarious, which makes a change to most of the bands I have seen recently.
