See You Next Tuesday: Bound 3, Pizza in Space and Cycle Safety
Welcome to this weeks latest instalment of See You Next Tuesday where the Lazy Oaf team fill you in on the things that have caught our eye or got us talking in the office over the past 7 days. This week we are reliving our love for Seth Rogen and James Franco, wanting to wear everything Tavi Gevinson wears and standing up for cyclists in London. 1. INTERNET SENSATIONS: (Vague). We weren't too sure how we felt about the new Kanye song Bound 2 so it was going to take quite a lot to convince us, and there were no better men for the job than Seth Rogen and James Franco. The comedy pair teamed up to release a spoof version of Kanye's latest video starring the one and only Kim Kardashian and we think you'll agree, the resemblance between her and Seth is pretty uncanny. These lads can do no wrong in our eyes and we hope this is the start of something beautiful. Watch the original here or both videos side by side for the ultimate comparison here. 2. FOOD FAVOURITES: Pizza Space. As children many of us dreamed of becoming an astronaut. While the idea is great, in reality most of us won't have the time/money/patience/capability to fulfil the specifications required to be one. So rather than sending ourselves out to space, earlier in the year Brooklyn-based band Anamanaguchi did the next best thing and sent a slice of margarita pizza out there instead. Launching it into the sky using a balloon and documented by Vice, the boys were responsible for the first ever pizza orbit. Watch in wonder here and keep an eye out for the bands cosmic taste in T-shirts. 3. WINDOW SHOPPING:  Role Model, or Whatever. When a 13 year old Tavi Gevinson graced the front cover of Pop Magazine wearing clothes we'll probably never get access to in a life time we knew she was onto something good and have continued to follow her blog Style Rookie, and magazine Rookie ever since. So we're definitely excited to see her back on a front cover, this time for one of our fave USA magazines Bullett. Dressed in a mixture of Prada, Opening Ceremony, Philip Lim and Saint Laurent, we pretty much want everything she is wearing in the shoot. We wouldn't mind the Shar-Pei puppy either. See the complete shoot and read the article here. 4. MEDIA MATTERS: Cycle Safe. With six cyclists deaths in just two weeks in London, it is clear that something isn't right on our roads and we think it is about time this changed before anyone else finds their fate at their pedals. That is why this Friday 29th November, cyclists, pedestrians and drivers across the city will be heading down to the head quarters of TFL for a peaceful protest to try and improve road conditions for bikes in the UK with the hope that we can be more in line with cycle-friendly cities like Amsterdam and Berlin.
